Who I am.

I came to Douglas County for the same reason so many people stay here—the unmatched natural beauty and the sense of community that make this place feel like home. From the moment I arrived, I knew this was the most beautiful corner of the country I had ever seen, and I am proud to have built my life here.

My roots in service run deep. I serve as President of the Myrtle Creek Library, sit on the City of Myrtle Creek Planning Commission, and act as Treasurer for the Everyday Needs Network. I’ve spent my entire career in construction, from working as a laborer to running multiple companies. I’ve created jobs, managed large-scale projects, and learned firsthand what it takes to build strong foundations—whether for a business, a program, or a community. In 2025, I was honored to be named Myrtle Creek’s Man of the Year for my work on behalf of our residents.

Through the library, I have written and implemented programs that enrich the lives of people across Douglas County—introducing youth, families, and seniors to hands-on learning in technology, science, art, and more. When our libraries were defunded, I stepped up as an unpaid volunteer and helped quadruple the resources flowing into our community, ensuring that every dollar benefitted the people who rely on these services.

I believe in accountability, transparency, and putting people before politics. For too long, our county has been held back by a “good old boy” system where self-interest is rewarded and taxpayers are left with growing deficits and shrinking opportunities. I am running to change that. My leadership is guided not by special interests or corporate influence but by the needs of the people who live and work here.

I am a problem-solver who focuses on real solutions—stabilizing the budget through innovation, bringing in new industries, supporting small businesses, and creating jobs that allow our young people to stay and build a future here. This is my home. This is where I live, work, and play. I am committed to protecting our natural resources, strengthening our communities, and ensuring that Douglas County thrives for generations to come.
